IDENTIFYING YOUR MATERIALS

MSJD Services provides custom designed fences as well as painting and staining. We work with a number of suppliers in the city in order to help you get the best rates on your materials depending on what you have selected. A common desire for many of our clients is to select pressure treated spruce lumber for use on fences, however there are always other options such as cedar, fir, and pine. The materials each hold differences in price, longevity, durability and maintenance requirements. From the ground up, many fence jobs are similar in nature, modified by their look, design and shape.

FENCES

A fence is held into the ground using four-foot deep postholes. A 4×4 fence post is then concreted into place and the framework for the fence is built between the posts, all of which are set to be level and even with each other post. A basic fence structure has evenly divided sections with similar looking bracing on each section to ensure a great design with a sturdiness that lasts for years. Adding features such as lattis work, capping posts, or more eloquent frame designs are all features that can be discussed and priced into our jobs.

STAINING

In addition to our fence demolition and construction, we also offer refinishing and refurbishing services. If you need your deck or fence sanded down, and painted, we would be happy to help you accomplish this goal.

DELIVERY, HAUL AWAY, and LABOUR

Our pricing is quoted based on the labour to complete the job. Hence our benchmark is to charge by the lineal or square foot requirements at a rate that is competitive and fair within our industry. Materials are always delivered and debris always hauled away. We include these factors in our quotes and numbers are based on square footage and/or approximate weight/volume when providing delivery and haul away services.
