MSJD SERVICES is a locally owned and operated full service tree and lawn care company. We offer Year Round and Seasonal services to accommodate your needs all throughout the year. Our Logo was designed to reflect the seasonal nature of our business and the various service areas we excel at. Our logo is comprised as the arteries of a leaf which breaks up four sections or seasons of the year. Each colour associates with a different line of services provided by our company. Our Red Colour indicates Year Round services such as Tree Removals. Our Green Colour is our soft scape landscape maintenance wing, which provides lawn and yard care maintenance and small landscaping services such as sod, gardens, trees, and mulch. Our Orange Colour references the hard scape landscape construction projects using lumber, stone, and brick to ensure unique and practical elements of your yard. Finally our Blue Colour represents our Winter and Snow Removal Services, wherein we clear snow and ice in the winter to keep your walkways and driveways clear. We also offer a Christmas light set up service during the autumn to brighten up your home for the festive season.

History

MSJD Services Inc. was formed as partnership between Matt’s Weekly Lawn Care and Landscaping, and JHD Enterprises Junk Hauling and Deliveries. Matthew Smith and Joshua Daniels own the companies, hence the name MSJD Services.

The conglomeration of Matt’s Weekly Lawn Care and Landscaping with JHD Enterprises began discussions in early 2013, and accelerated during the Flood Relief efforts that would occur later that year. They joined resources and served clients requiring haul away, labour, and eventually new landscapes. The demand for business was booming, and hence a new company was born amidst the floods. Today we employ up to 10 staff, and work with contractors, suppliers and customers all across the city.

Matthew Smith has 15 years of Landscaping experience and has a long-term list of clients in Lawn Care, Landscaping, and Snow Removal. He began Matt’s Weekly Lawn Care after learning about lawn care as a teenager, he endeavoured to make a thriving and successful business for himself and his staff. Over the years he has employed and worked with many young up and coming landscapers from all across the world. He also provided junk removal services in addition to landscaping services. Matthew grew his business to such a point that he needed a partner to expand the efforts and realize the vision of being a successful and visible Landscape service business. He arranged with Joshua Daniels of JHD Enterprises to form MSJD Services and begin taking the business to the next level.

Joshua Daniels holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Haskayne School of Business majoring in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. He graduated in 2006 with honours and went on to incorporate JHD Enterprises. JHD Enterprises began as a project consulting company working with companies to manage projects in business, primarily in sales and marketing as well as operations. After several years in Marketing and Promotional projects, JHD Enterprises became an operative for special events products such as Photobooths and interactive entertainment. In this time, Junk Removal, Hauling and Deliveries, as well as landscaping projects filled the voids of entertainment world, and within 5 years, merged efforts with Matt’s Weekly Lawn Care to for MSJD Services.
